Some Pending Issues:

1.    Since the managing committee of the society is still under the control of Mr. Swaran Singh,  no one from the management of the Society is looking after the three cases filed in the Civil Courts of Kharar against the managing committee (then administrator) by the unauthorised occupants of flats, despite the fact that the office of Registrar Cooperative Society has asked the managing committee (now responsible after elections) in written (letter No 567-73 dated 23/02/06 to expedite the cases and oust unauthorised people from possessions.

2.    The case registered against Mr. Swaran Singh under sections 420, 406, 468, 471, 120B with CIA staff of Ropar is pending since March 05 (FIR No 083 date 17/03/05).

3.    Audit of the Society for the year 04-05 was done with a number of irregularities being reported by the department. Crucial matters like proper Cash Book, Bank Book, stock register, etc were not presented before the auditors. Despite many reminders by the department, nothing has been done.

4.     Audit for the year 05-06 has not even been started whereas already nine months have elapsed.

5.     Appeal against the decision of DR (Legal) in which resolutions of 12/09/2004 and 16/02/2005 were set aside is pending in the court of worthy F.C.C. (case no 10 of 2006, titled as Sanju Pandita Vs RCS, Punjab Etc. )

6.    Two Election Petitions filed with The Registrar are pending in the court of D.R. Legal. The cases are titled as Rajiv Gupta Vs Swaran Singh and Hardyal Singh Bhaura Vs Balbir Singh.

7.    The managing committee was suspended by Deputy Registrar, Ropar and the case of appeal filed by four out of seven members of the managing committee is still pending awaiting a SELF SPEAKING ORDERs which was to be submitted by D.R. Ropar before 30.10.2006.
