Today, i.e, on 15^th August, 2006, when the nation is celebrating its 60^th Independence Day, we the genuine members of The United Co-operative House Building Society Ltd., are experiencing the worst phase of our lives as we see our homes, our life time savings and all our dreams of a happy and prosperous life being ruined because of the rampant corruption and nepotism prevalent in the Government of Punjab. Today, when our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, made a commitment to wipe out corruption, it seems nothing more than a distant dream. Disserted and dejected from the treatment of Punjab Government Officials and Politicians, we lay the foundation of this web site with a heavy heart in hope of getting some relief from somebody in this country who might have the will and power to fight for justice and help those whose rights are being robbed because of their inability to bribe the government officials.

The Scam page provides an outline of the scam, modus operandi of the persons involved and the nexus between them. The Chronicle contains a complete history of the society and the sequence of events as we have passed through them along with the copies of all relevant documents, facts and figures. In the Unanswered section there is a compilation of some questions that we have been asking the officials of the Cooperative Department and the Managing Committee of the society but no body seems interested to answer them. In the Pending Section there is an account of some of the important complaints and cases that are gathering dust in the various departments of the Govt. of Punjab since last many months if not years. In the Actions Required section we have suggested certain measures which if initiated by the Govt. in spirit shall be helpful in resolving the issue and book the culprits. The Latest News shall carry the latest information regarding the society for its members and all those interested in the affairs of the society as and when any action is taken by any authority or the management of the society in this respect. The Directory page contains some important telephone numbers of the officials of Cooperative Department as well as the office bearers of the managing committee of the society. The Contact Us page contains our address and e-mail id.
